- Registration:
Registering to play Fantasy Manipe F1 is free of charge, and takes only a minute to complete. After providing your username, password, country of residence and e-mail address, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you within minutes. Once you confirm your account through the e-mail, you will be able to start creating your Fantasy Manipe F1 team straight away.
- Creating teams:
You, as the manager of your team, are given €260m to spend as you wish on your selection of two drivers, one car manufacturer and one engine supplier. Your team must not exceed €260m in value, however, it may fall below the threshold. The only restriction on your team is that you must choose two different drivers in your line-up. You may change the line-up of your team as many times as you wish up until the start of first practice of the first race of the season.
- Creating your own league:
Fantasy Manipe F1 offers you the ability to create your own leagues, as many as you wish, to directly challenge your friends, collegues, and associates. Like everything else at Fantasy Manipe F1, creating your own league is free, and it may be private or public. To make your league private, simply submit a password when you are creating the league. Only people who know the password will then be able to join, however if you decide to keep your league public, any one of the Fantasy Manipe F1 managers will be able to join your league. As the league owner, you will not need to provide the password when submitting your choice of teams to the league.
- Joining a league:
To join a user league, simply go to that user league (by navigating through the user leagues page). From there you will see a link to join the league, along with other information about that league. Click on the "Join this league" link, and then select the teams which you want to join the league. If the league is private, you will be prompted to supply a password.
- Transfers:
Fantasy Manipe F1 offers you the unique opportunity to change your team at three points during the season. The 'transfer window' will open between the Bahrain and Spanish Grands Prix, between the British and German Grands Prix, and finally between the Italian and Singapore Grands Prix. When the 'transfer window' is open, you are allowed to change your team's line-up. The same rules apply as to when you are creating your team in the first place, i.e. you must keep within your budget, and you must have two different drivers. You are limited to 5 transfers during the season.
At the start of the season, all users are allowed to change the line-up of their teams without affecting their transfer limit. This transfer amnesty will close at the beginning of practice for the first round of the season.
